Thank you for exploring Gobi Travel’s website, and think of this as your travel guide for planning the trip together responsibly.
Our Journey Together
We are the designers and operators of our guided adventures, not a third-party reseller or agency in the middle. Our all-inclusive pricing covers every element of the itinerary: airport transfers, lodging, meals, transport, activities, and expert guide/local staff support. Due to the nature of adventure travel, minor changes and challenges may occur. While the itinerary is representative of the planned journey, route details are subject to alteration based on local circumstances, and we appreciate your flexibility.
14-Day Risk-free Booking
Your booking is confirmed, and a contract exists when Gobi Travel sends a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. You can cancel at any point during the first 14 days after booking and get a 100% refund. This allows you two weeks to sort out flights and vacation time without having to worry about losing your spot.
Once your booking is confirmed, please check your confirmation email and report any incorrect or incomplete information to Gobi Travel.
If you have special requests such as diet etc, please let us know before the booking.
2-Year Deposit Policy
All scheduled trip bookings require a $600 deposit. Our 2-Year Deposit Policy allows any of our clients forced to delay a departure or wanting to switch destinations the ability to apply their initial deposit towards a later scheduled date or another trip at no extra charge. Simply put, we want to ensure you can enjoy the Gobi Travel experience you want, at a time that works best for you.
A 2-Year Deposit Policy is applicable in the period after the 14-day Risk-free Booking Window and the 90 days prior to the scheduled departure. Deposits are not refundable in cash.
Remaining Balance Payment Schedule
120 days prior to trip departure: $1,500
90 days prior to trip departure: Balance
Prices are in US Dollars per person based on double occupancy, and payable by check or bank wire, or Zelle. If payment isn’t completed, we may need to release your spot to fellow travelers.
Solo Adventurers
The single supplement is an additional fee for adventurers who request their own accommodation (hotel, camp, or tents) for the duration of the trip. This amount varies and is listed in each trip.
Booking a Custom Trip
Deposit: $1,000
120 days prior to trip departure: 25% of trip cost
90 days prior to trip departure: Balance
Travel Protection
We understand that life can be unpredictable; for that reason strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to safeguard your travel plans, investment, and most importantly, you against unexpected events.
When you purchase travel protection insurance, provide us policy details to our office before your trip departure date.
Cancellation & Refund
91 days prior to trip departure: 100% Refund (minus the 2-Year Deposit)
90 to 61 days prior to trip departure: 75% Refund
60 to 46 days prior to trip departure: 50% Refund
45 days or less prior to trip departure: No Refund
